Las Vegas' Playground launches Dead Man's Hand rock club

Playground, Las Vegas’ first entertainment and nightlife complex, announces partnership with rock icons Jerry Cantrell and Scott Ian to transform its live music venue, the Rock Room, into “Dead Man’s Hand.”

“Dead Man’s Hand” will bring several of the most influential members of the rock music community together with Alice in Chains guitarist Cantrell and Anthrax guitarist Ian all involved.

“Dead Man’s Hand” will offer a one-of-a-kind experience for fans to see their idols up-close as the shows will be held in the intimate, 200-person capacity venue. Designed for the biggest rock fans to call home, “Dead Man’s Hand” will have live stage performances and impromptu appearances by Cantrell, Ian and many of their industry friends. “Dead Man’s Hand” will be the only place in Las Vegas for rock fans to see these legendary music masters perform, and party with them, too.

“Dead Man’s Hand” will be an invigorating destination fusing the elements of an upscale lounge and concert venue while creating an intimate nightlife experience. The space will invite its guests to enjoy cocktails and shots from an inventive menu, creating an alternative to the Vegas nightlife scene. “Dead Man’s Hand” will offer a unique rock environment that is modern and cutting-edge. The design will feature rich colors, interesting architecture and lavish decorations. Private VIP booths will be strategically positioned on raised levels to give a feeling of privacy and intimacy.

Playground is a revolutionary concept offering multiple rooms to satisfy the 24-hour cravings of tourists and locals alike, including a gentlemen’s club, live music, fresh sushi, hookah lounge and a nightclub. The 40,000+ square-foot venue is located minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip just a few blocks west of I-15 on Russell Rd.

The Playground team consists of experienced adult entertainment and nightclub professionals, including David Pappas, Nando Sostilio, Vinny Faraci, Gino LoPinto and Keith Ragano: men who have shaped and continue to make their mark on the nightlife landscape in Las Vegas.
