Matt Hires
Hires’ debut album “TAKE US TO THE START,” hit the top 10 on iTunes’ overall “Top Albums” chart and debuted in the upper half of the Billboard 200 upon its release this summer. Among the highlights are a series of songs – including “Out Of The Dark,” “Turn The Page” and “Perfect Day” – which have been featured in recent episodes of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice. Following the broadcast of “Out Of The Dark” on Grey’s Anatomy, Hires’ debut album soared over 100 spots on the iTunes album chart.

What’s more, “TAKE US TO THE START” has received extensive critical praise. People hailed the collection, noting “on the opening cut of his debut, Hires requests, ‘Honey, Let Me Sing You a Song.’ With his folky pop and aching croon, how could you deny him?” Creative Loafing commended the album as “cleverly-crafted and interesting, full of sincerity and catchy melodies highlighted by (Hires’) enveloping, gravelly tenor.”

A charming and charismatic live performer, Matt has spent the past year touring the country with such like-minded acts as Paolo Nutini, Dave Matthews Band, Marc Broussard, Eric Hutchinson and O.A.R. Hires’ song "Honey, Let Me Sing You A Song" will be featured on upcoming episodes of both Cougar Town and Life Unexpected, which will also feature the song “O Sunrise” on an additional episode.

Jason Castro
A multi-talented singer and guitarist, Jason Castro was among the most popular and talented artists in American Idol history, entering the record books as the first contestant ever to play an instrument on the show. His performance of the Leonard Cohen-penned classic “Hallelujah” proved such an audience favorite that cult hero Jeff Buckley’s rendition of the song hit #1 on the iTunes chart the following week, sold an astonishing 178,000 digital singles.

Jason scored a chart-topping single of his own a few weeks later, when his interpretation of “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” also hit #1 on iTunes after a show-stopping performance of the song on American Idol. Upon the season’s conclusion, Castro was among the stars of the hugely successful “American Idols LIVE! Tour 2008.” Recently signed to Atlantic Records, Castro released a five-song collection, entitled "THE LOVE UNCOMPROMISED EP" via all digital retailers on January 12th. His full-length debut is due out Spring 2010.
