Redeye Empire in LA Saturday

Vancouver’s REDEYE EMPIRE return to Los Angeles on Saturday, February 13 to the House Of Blues Sunset as part of their 18-city U.S. tour opening for G. Love & Special Sauce.

The rock/reggae/pop five-piece are touring in support of new album SEA TO SKY (29 Records). The 11-track set is named after the highway between Vancouver, BC and Whistler, BC.--the hometowns of co-lead vocalists Gabe Davis and Mike Redmond. SEA TO SKY was recorded at GGGarth Richardson’s studio in Vancouver (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine) and was produced by Ben Kaplan (Shakira, Chevelle).

REDEYE EMPIRE previously toured the U.S. with G. Love & Special Sauce in 2007 and then with Pepper in 2008. The band has also shared stages with Michael Franti & Spearhead, Slightly Stoopid, Fishbone and Xavier Rudd, among others.
