Actress, Singer and Writer Felicia Taylor E., will Premiere “Snips and Snails: Womanhood Tales”, at the Pacific Asia Museum, October 8th, 2010 at 7PM and 8PM. The event is being held during the celebration of Pasadena Art Night Fall 2010. Admission is FREE.
The performance piece, inspired by an exhibit from the Pacific Asia Museum shares the stories of Three women who have very different lives and expectations, but share a similarity in how their Canvas of Life is viewed by themselves, Society and Life itself. The audience is invited to share in these heartwarming, entertaining and unique stories as the Curator of the show takes You on an Artistic Journey with each Character. As each Art Piece comes to life, the audience is led into the intricate lives of these women as they interact with the Characters within. These stories make us question our own choices and expectations in Life. And also, pushes us to ask ourselves “Who is creating Our Life Canvas?”
Felicia Taylor E., last seen performing the Historical Character Madam CJ Walker in “Dream A Little Dream,” at the Boston Court Theater and The Huntington Library will be joined in this production by Vocalist/Actress- Chelsea Camille, Actress and Artistic Director of Crown City Theatre-Joanne McGee and Actress-Suzanne Moran. The Performance is Directed by Los Angeles Award Winning Director; Flint Esquerra, who is also Artistic Director of The MET Theater in Hollywood.
