Japanese Garden Festival at Descanso Gardens Nov. 6-7

Japanese Garden Festival, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Nov. 6-7, Descanso Gardens, 1418 Descanso Dr., La Cañada Flintridge. Celebrate Japanese arts, crafts and culture with a chrysanthemum show, taiko drum performance (noon Nov. 6), suiseki stone exhibit and the return of the Camellia Lounge. About Descanso GardensEstablished as a public garden in 1954, Descanso Gardens is located at 1418 Descanso Drive, La Cañada Flintridge, near the interchange of the 2 and 210 freeways. The Gardens are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Christmas Day. Parking is free.
