The Art of the Short Story
A Reading and Workshop with
Leslie Parry

3 – 5:00 P.M.
The author shares one of her short stories, then
leads a 30 minute mini writing exercise followed
by individual readings of completed projects
and a Q&A (participation is free)
Parry is a graduate of New York University and Iowa
Writers’ Workshop. Her work is forthcoming in
“The PEN/O. Henry Prize Stories.” She currently
teaches fiction classes through Writing Workshops
Los Angeles, a private writing school for the brave,
enthusiastic, and talented.
