Korn's Jonathan Davis remixes Rev Theory song

Korn singer Jonathan Davis recently went in to the studio and recorded a vocal for a remix of Rev Theory’s song “Justice.” The title track and lead single from the band’s recent DGC/Interscope release is a certified hit, now 13 on the Active Rock chart. The remix featuring Jonathan Davis has been sent to radio stations across the U.S., and is hitting the airwaves this week.

Rev Theory guitarist Julien Jorgensen shared, “We've all been huge fans of JD for a long time. To have him guest on this remix of Justice has been an honor. It really makes a statement.”

Rev Theory is just beginning to hit their stride. Eight years in to a steady uptrend, the band’s audience continues to grow with each passing day. The quintet have toured relentlessly, performing 250 shows a year on average, split between headlining appearances, and support opportunities with Avenged Sevenfold, Motley Crue, and many others. The band’s Truth is Currency (2005), was followed by 2008’s Light It Up, whose title track became the theme for WrestleMania XXIV and launched Rev Theory’s high-profile musical relationship with World Wrestling Entertainment. Just recently Rev Theory issued Justice, which is being critically hailed as their best yet.

Guitarist Julien Jorgensen shared, “Justice means so much to us. It’s not just an album title. It’s a call to action. A lot of people are disillusioned. They’ve lost their jobs and their homes. They’ve lost faith in their leaders. We all need something to inspire us, something to make us believe again. We hope songs like ‘Justice’ and ‘Guilty by Design’ can rally people and maybe get them to believe, whether it’s in themselves, in humanity or in rock ‘n’ roll.”

The quintet has also announced that they have joined the line-up for the final dates on the 2011 Fuse Uranium Tour, presented by Mistress Julia. The band will appear in St. Louis (6/01, The Pageant), Atlantic City (6/03, House of Blues), New York (6/04, Irving Plaza) and Richmond, VA (6/05, The National), alongside headliner Black Label Society and Hail The Villain, following the departure of All That Remains from the line-up. Tour plans for the weeks heading in to this run will be announced shortly.
