RIO hits theaters on April 15, 2011 and is a 3-D animation feature from the makers of the Ice Age films. The comedy follows the adventures of Blu, a domesticated Macaw that never learned to fly. Blu believes he is among the last of his kind but upon learning about Jewel, a female Macaw in Brazil, he leaves the comforts of his cage in small town Minnesota and heads to Rio de Janeiro to find her.
