Tommy Mottola & Thalia pregnant

Music mogul Tommy Mottola and his wife, Latin superstar Thalía, revealed today they are expecting their second child later this year.

Tommy Mottola, former CEO of Sony Music Entertainment is credited with transforming Sony Music into one of the most successful global music companies in history. He is widely known for signing, developing, and nurturing the careers of some of Sony's biggest global brands, including Celine Dion, Destiny's Child, Mariah Carey, Ricky Martin, Shakira, Gloria Estefan, the Dixie Chicks, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony among others. Currently Mottola acts as a consultant and advisor to private equity working with the principals buying and selling businesses and working day-to-day with these acquisitions in the transitional and growth stages as well as sitting on the boards of some of these companies including most recently the successful, O.N.E. coconut water.

Latin superstar Thalía is an actress, singer and author. She is considered Mexico’s most famous telenovela actress. She has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide. Her current release, “Primera Fila” debuted at #1 in the U.S. Billboard latin chart and has resided in the top 5 for 35 weeks, in addition to being # 1 in Mexico for 9 consecutive weeks. She currently is the host of her own nationally-syndicated highly-rated Citadel Media radio show, “Conexión Thalía” which airs Saturdays 4-6pm in 30 major markets focusing on music, fashion, news, and political issues. In addition she holds the record in being named one of People en Espanol Magazine’s Most Beautiful (Mas Bellos) a record eight times.

Tommy Mottola and Thalía married in December 2000. They welcomed their first child, daughter Sabrina Sakaë in 2007. Mottola has 2 other children Michael and Sarah from a previous marriage.
