B.O.M.B. Fest announces lineup

With less than a month before showtime, B.O.M.B. Fest is proud to announce its local talent lineup. Taking place on May 28-29 at the Comcast Theatre in Hartford, CT, B.O.M.B. Fest will unite local bands across the East Coast in one place for festival patrons. Featuring a diverse group of bands that range from alternative hip-hop to angular post punk, B.O.M.B. Fest’s local stage will bring together bands from across the musical spectrum. With local acts performing side-by-side with likes of Weezer, Snoop Dogg, and Wiz Khalifa throughout the festival, this robust local talent will give the East Coast a musical experience unlike any other to come before it.

Returning for it’s third year to Connecticut, B.O.M.B. Fest is the brainchild of Frank Bombaci, Sr. and Frank Bombaci, Jr., who have dedicated themselves to providing the East Coast with a premiere music festival that focuses not only on the best national talent, but also on the budding stars that will eventually follow in their footsteps. Long-time supporters of local music, the Bombacis have followed this vision since the festival’s beginning in 2008.

" Live local music is a very focused part of the overall non-profit mission of Bring Our Music Back Inc!” Frank Bombaci Sr. said. “There are amazing talented young musicians that need to be heard and we take pride in incorporating that mission into B.O.M.B. Fest.”

In addition to national and local talent, festival guests will also experience delicious food vendors, unique craft stations, and one-of a kind art installations, all complemented by Comcast Theatre’s professional amenities — clean bathrooms, spacious parking lots and state-of-the-art sound systems. And all proceeds from this year’s festival will got towards providing music scholarships, music enrichment and education programs, music and healing initiatives and community support and outreach.

Last year’s festival raised money for The Hole in the Wall Gang Camps, Connecticut Children's Hospital, YPI Camp, and The Lyman Allyn Museum.

Two-day passes are currently available at www.bombfest.com at $89 for General Admission Open Air Passes and $99 for General Admission Pavilion Passes. Advance single-day tickets are also on sale now at $60 for General Admission Open Air Passes and $70 for General Admission Pavilion Passes.
