Last year, Roland Corporation U.S. (Roland) named long-time Product and Marketing Specialist Dan-Michael Krisher as Artist Relations Manager. Since assuming the role, Dan has restructured Roland's AR into a new program called the "Roland Artists & Educators Alliance."
As Dan explains, "The idea is to recognize and support performing artists and the importance of music educators – who inspire and connect people to our products."
Through the Roland Artists & Educators Alliance, Dan has created a new heightened visibility for Roland products on television and in the media. As the next phase in the growth of Roland's artist relations, Roland will be opening this month a 740-square-foot Artist Relations office and showroom at the SCLA-CenterStaging facility in Burbank, CA. The new office will enable visiting artists and tour personnel to experience Roland products first-hand. The office and showroom will include a performance stage, office space, and a rotating selection of the newest in Roland and BOSS products.
As Dan explains, "The development of new Roland technologies, such as the V-Piano®, SuperNATURAL® and our Behavior Modeling technology, make it more critical than ever for musicians to experience our products for themselves. Bringing our products to the musicians and staff at SCLA-CenterStaging will allow them to play and hear the sound-quality and expressiveness of our newest instruments."
"We value our almost two-decade relationship with SCLA-CenterStaging." says Chris Bristol, President of Roland Corporation U.S. "The addition of our new AR offices at the Burbank facilities will allow us to work even more closely with all their staff in providing the best support to their clients. This is a major step forward that will help us introduce our newest and cutting-edge products to the world's top performing musicians."
"Solidifying a long standing and cherished relationship, SCLA-CenterStaging is thrilled to have Roland Corporation U.S., a world leader in electronic musical instrumentation, make their new Artist Relations home here at SCLA-CenterStaging. Catering to the world's top performing acts, and working closely with the most notable production companies, SCLA-CenterStaging is LA's premier rehearsal and back-line facility specializing in production and tech support for television and live performances," adds Michael Anderson, General Manager of SCLA-CenterStaging. "We have joined together with the top musical manufacturers in the world to conduct their Artist Relations business on site, making SCLA-CenterStaging the ideal one-stop venue for any musical artist to do their work. Roland sets the highest standard of excellence among manufacturers and we could not be more excited that they have joined us!"
