Brian Kenney Fresno announces Fullerton show Sept. 29

Deer Los Angeles-
I know I only wright when I need something, so hear it is- I need someone to be a fare, impartial jurist that has not heard of the Michael Jac HAH , not really.

Actually, for once, I don't need anything from you. I AM, however, offering YOU the opportunity to see ME perform in Southern Ca.
I've been invited to play a showcasey kind of thing for CalProg, a progressive rock music organization -
http://www.calprog.com/

My deer friends MoeTar- are also on the bill, and they will tear your head off- Amazing music and cianship. I can't say enough. I was in E is for Elephant with Tarik the bass player/ composer for 16 years and his playing and ideas are UNEQUALED. As a 16 year old he would make grown men cry because they knew they would NEVER be that good-while he deliverd "soul destroying complexity with nonchalant ease'. Most importantly the kid had soul that poured off of him. HIs wife Moorea is a stunt singer for "Rock Band", "Karaoke Revolution" and lots of other stuff- You have probably heard her voice on TV, if you watch that. They front a band of heroes.

I don't really care if you come or not, You know our relationship has always been tenuos at best. Sure we have our moments, but neither of us can forget the pane of the past, so I propose we just move on.

If you'd like to know the show details, the info is out their, or you can just right me, and I'll tell you.

-------------------------
I hope most of you are doing well!

I've been hunkered down recording for what is called a year today. The project has been buffeted by computer failure, multiple hard drive failures, my stupidity, and scarce resources, but is coming out AMAZINGLY and just about ready to be mixed. I take back what I said earlier about knot kneading anything from you- I need some studio monitors, preferably some Yamaha HS 80's.

A stranger gave me a 1923 Gibson Mandolin last month, and I'm reminded how sometimes you just have to say what you need- use your words.

Likewise, if any of you need anything, just let me know..

I'm super excited that i had a foot of hair cut from my head yesterday for locks of love- I got my Crazy Old Man Eyebrows trimmed, and the back of my neck shaved two!
I feel like a younger, less hairy Fresno.

I'm playing at my musician friends Wedding soon- They want it to be like someone put something in the punch bowl, can do! Honestly I'm a lil alarmed, but I'll wear my formal black and white tablecloth cape, and my new eyebrows, and everything will be something. It's quite an honor, as most of the best musicians in Fresno will be there.

On a similar , yet completely unrelated note, I have a new DVD featuring the Sierra Joint Union High School Choir. Yes, it's true. It was performed in the Auberry Library. Yes -library. Auberry is a small mountain community outside of Fresno.

On yet another note, I wrote an amazingly amusing and comprehensive book on Stoner Etiquette that I am trying to get published. My design wizard friend laid the whole thing out in exquisitely beautiful detail. Perhaps YOU know someone in the publishing industry.

I have not been actively touring, so I AM really looking forward to the thing on the 29th- my show down there is on Sept 29th by the way-

It's been a long time since I've been down there, and I hope you have'nt changed things a bit, unless it's traffic or snotty attitudes.

Lots of love, hope to see you soon,
bkf
