Earlier today, Go Country 105 FM announced the lineup for their inaugural Winter Fest holiday concert. Like the station’s annual summer event, Go Fest, this show will feature a must-see lineup of platinum stars and burgeoning talent. Trace Adkins will headline with his electrified country hits, plus Brantley Gilbert and Craig Campbell will special guest. Winter Fest will take place at Gibson Amphitheater on December 8th.
Tickets for Go Country 105’s Winter Fest will go on sale Saturday, October 8th at 10 AM. They will be available at LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster.com, at select Live Nation and Ticketmaster retail outlets plus via Charge-By-Phone (800.745.3000).
In August, Trace Adkins released his 10th studio album, Proud To Be Here, which hit #3 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Its leadoff single, “Just Fishin,’” cracked the Country Top 10. Adkins is one of Country music's most versatile and accomplished entertainers. His instantly recognizable baritone has earned 30 charted singles and 15 Top Ten hits gold, platinum, and multi-platinum albums with total sales surpassing 10 million.
A member of the Grand Ole Opry, Adkins was raised on Country and Gospel and is known as a traditionalist who speaks his mind and honors the past. Hits such as "Every Light In The House Is On," "This Ain't No Thinkin' Thing," and "You're Gonna Miss This," feature the heart-felt sentiment that Country music is known for. However, as his fans know, his range also extends to the rowdy side. Having played his fair share of honky tonks on his way up, it was obvious from the start that the rowdy barroom anthem, "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk," would become an across-the-board phenomenon, while his "All I Ask For Anymore," is a moving modern masterpiece that earned Grammy nominations for Best Male Country Performance and Best Country Song.
Brantley Gilbert has built a rabid fanbase – now known as the BG Nation -- through compelling lyrics and a dynamic live show. The rising star’s Facebook page see 7 million views a month and his MySpace page has garnered more than 16 million total song plays. In March 2010, Gilbert released his sophomore album Halfway to Heaven, the follow-up to his debut national release, A Modern Day Prodigal Son. Halfway to Heaven initially peaked at #2 on iTunes Country Album Charts and at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Album Chart for all genres. Then, in February 2011, Gilbert signed with Big Machine Label Group’s imprint The Valory Music Co., which released a deluxe version of Halfway to Heaven last month.
Craig Campbell’s traditional back-to-basics Country sound has taken resonated with both audiences and critics alike. His debut single, “Family Man,” hit the Top 15 at Country radio, plus #14 on Mediabase and #14 on Billboard. People magazine gave his self-titled debut album three stars, while the Washington Post said, “Campbell sings in a rich, unhurried baritone and favors gimmick-free arrangements that feature swinging twin fiddles and careening steel guitar.”
