Xander Demos to release new album

Hello to all fellow musicians, music lovers, friends, family and generous sponsors:

It has been a while since I sent one of these out so there is a bunch going on! Check out my website at www.xanderdemos.com for all of the latest. So, without further delay, here's what's going on in my musical world.

2012 started out with me attending the Winter NAMM show in Anaheim and playing for ISP Technologies and demoing the Theta Vector guitar system. Later on that month, I went back on the Real Radio Show out on Long Island and got to jam "Satch Boogie" with AJ Pero and also played a few tracks from Guitarcadia.

And speaking of which, Guitarcadia has been officially released on February 29th and the hard copies will be shipping as soon as I get them. CJ Snare made these songs really come to life with his unbelievable talent behind the mixing board. Also check out my interview with Guitar World where I discuss CJ's involvment on the CD as well as some of my influences.

In the interest of keeping it METAL - I have been added to the line-up of the east coast chapter of James Rivera's Sabbath Judas Sabbath which features Jeff Anzelone on drums, my "brother from another mother" Bill Staley on guitar and Greg Bittner on bass. James is the singer for thrash metal band Helstar and was formerly in Malice. We do Dio-era Black Sabbath tunes along with Judas Priest from 4 decades of incredible music. Hey... playing Painkiller is worth it! I can't wipe the smile off of my face as Bill and I trade leads on that song!

Back to the solo stuff... I have done quite a few interviews lately and the real exciting thing is that my newest single "White Knuckle Driving" will soon be getting a music video treatment that I just started the story-boarding for. Everything on the local front is still going strong and on April 6th myself and my scary talented band (made up of Chris Batton, Matt Williams and Adam Heusey) will be opening for super-shredder Buckethead at the Altar Bar.

You can order Guitarcadia at http://www.steelcityguitar.com/Guitarcadia.aspx as well as my profile on CD Baby: http://www.cdbaby.com/Artist/XanderDemos Rememeber that a portion of the proceeds from my CD sales go to the ASPCA to help out our furry friends.
