Electric Daisy Carnival sold out

Insomniac announced today that tickets for the 16th Annual Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas are officially sold out. The festival’s producer anticipates more than 300,000 attendees over the three-day event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway June 8-10, 2012.

“This is the first time Electric Daisy Carnival has sold out this far in advance and to our largest audience yet,” said Pasquale Rotella, CEO and founder of Insomniac. “I am excited to see that the fans have adjusted to our new home in Las Vegas and grateful for the support the city has contributed to make this event a continued success. I encourage the attendees to explore all Las Vegas has to offer throughout EDC Week as their energy is a key attribute toward the overall experience. I consider the fans our biggest headliners and cannot wait to see everyone come together under the desert sky.”

Insomniac will transform the Las Vegas Motor Speedway into a completely interactive carnival experience for the 16th Annual Electric Daisy Carnival, featuring more than 150 electronic dance music artists, 500 theatrical performers including fire twirlers, aerialists, dancers, and stilt walkers, plus a special performance by Blue Man Group. The 1,000-acre complex will become a fully immersive audiovisual experience with dynamic large-scale art installations creating interactive environments amidst the seven stages, along with state-of-the-art lighting and sound production, numerous full size amusement rides and attractions, and a pyrotechnics display nightly.

Even with tickets sold out, Insomniac fans are encouraged to come to Las Vegas for a taste of the EDC experience on the strip during EDC Week, June 5 – 12. There will be tons of events going on including pool parties, nightclub events, the Bassrush Massive arena show and the inaugural EDMbiz Conference hosted by Jason Bentley.
