Warner Bros. to host Summer Sessions in Burbank

Warner Bros. Records is pleased to announce its second annual "Summer Sessions" Concert Series - a string of exclusive intimate live performances showcasing WBR artists and held outdoors on the patio at the label's iconic Burbank headquarters throughout the summer months. Sponsored by clothing retailer Express and Heineken, the series features some of WBR's most exciting newcomers, including Kimbra, and LP. Other confirmed performers include Delta Rae and Tegan and Sara.

Last year, Gary Clark Jr., Theophilus London, Jack's Mannequin, Neon Hitch, Wale and many others, entertained WBR staff and invited guests, creating a unique opportunity for WBR to show off its extraordinary roster of up-and-coming artists each week. Clothing retailer and Summer Sessions Sponsor Express will be interviewing the artists about music, style and inspiration, for their "Express Rocks" music blog (

"The Summer Sessions concerts have become a Friday afternoon staple during the summer in Burbank," says WBR Co-President Livia Tortella. "It's an amazing opportunity for the staff, select fans, and invited guests to hear new music, and actually spend time with the artists, in a relaxed setting."

"The Warner Bros. Records' flagship Burbank office has become a hive of cultural activity as of late, with quarterly art openings, the Summer Sessions, and the ever-changing installations in the lobby," says WBR's SVP of Creative Services Norman Wonderly. "It's an exciting place to be."

Be sure to watch for schedule updates from our artists, and "like" WBR on Facebook and Twitter for the chance to score tickets to these exclusive events. Those who can't join the party in Burbank will be able to watch from home, as each show will be live-streamed on The Warner Sound - - Warner Music Group's original YouTube channel, which offers an eclectic mix of specially produced programs, all with music at their core.

Warner Bros. Records is located at 3300 Warner Blvd., Burbank, CA 91510.
