Fallen Riviera to release album and in LA March 8

After establishing a loyal fan base within the Los Angeles music scene, Rock/Pop band Fallen Riviera continues to deliver innovative music akin to the sounds of  The Killers, Death Cab for Cutie and Snow Patrol. With the “Six Mines” EP, the music video for “This Is Who I Am,” and the hit single “Somebody Take Me” already under their belt, the highly anticipated release of Fallen Riviera’s album, Another World, is definitely one to watch for in 2013.

Fallen Riviera’s debut album, Another World, is set to be released on March 5th, 2013 and will be welcomed with a record release party at The Mint in Los Angeles on March 8th. Their first EP Six Mines was ranked Album of the Year by Music Connection Magazine and awarded them the Lauren Picard Emerging Artist of the Year Award at Cornell University. Another World showcases Fallen Riviera’s growth as a band and versatile songwriting abilities featuring inspiring lyrics and melodies, soaring vocals, and excellent musicianship and production.

Legendary producer, Ken Scott (Beatles, Pink Floyd, and David Bowie) quickly took note of the up and coming rock band in 2011 stating, “I have worked with many young talents that have gone on to the big time and Fallen Riviera fits right in with the best of them. Having known a couple of the band members since their genesis, I have seen them develop as musicians, hone their performing skills and most importantly flourish within their song writing talents. With all that in mind, I believe they are ready, deserving and able to reach the heights of success.”  Scott and renowned producer Wyn Davis have since been working closely with the band at Total Access Recording Studios (No Doubt, Sublime & Van Morrison have also tracked here), helping to produce their full-length debut, Another World.

To kick off Another World’s release, the band will be heading out on a mini-tour to multiple cities including Santa Barbara (February 26th), San Francisco (February 27th), Corvallis, Oregon (February 28th) and finishing up in Portland (March 1st).

After an amazing 2012, 2013 has proven even more successful for the band, “This album is really a turning point for us in that we feel it really defines who we are and what direction we are taking. We are proud of this album and hope that the fans love it as much as we do.”
