City Sleeps to release new video

After crisscrossing the country for the past 6 months City Sleeps has created a national buzz with their propulsive live show and infectious songs and they show no signs of slowing down as they get set to unleash a new video directed by Darren Doane (Buckcherry, AFI/Atreyu/Deftones)) that will impact video channels in May, with an exclusive world premiere on AOL on May 2.

Darren Doane has directed videos for such bands Blink 182, AFI and Jimmy Eat World.
Currently Darren has two videos on the VH1 countdown; Buck Cherry's "Sorry" and
Jason Mraz's "I’m Your's", upcoming projects include 2 videos for platinum selling artist
Colbie Caillat.

"Working with the band was awesome. One of the best artistic experiences of my career. Eli called me and we talked about how much we loved Stanley Kubrick. The goal was to "think"
Kubrick. Wide shots, long takes, minimal content. Let it breathe. As well, a little homage here
and there. The red stain/bleeding through imagery at the end, and snow layered effects was
a nod to The Shining. All in all just a great artistic project. The band knew what they wanted
and especially what they did not want. The goal was to express the song more than the band.
Let people be effected by the music first and then let the band settle in. Not many bands have
that kind of confidence. Again a blast over all to work with City Sleeps." –Darren Doane

WHEN: Friday, May 2

City Sleeps which includes Ely Dye (vox), Adriel Garcia (guitar), London (drums), Milo (bass) have been touring nationally and building a buzz from the underground up and their DIY efforts have paid off as they are met by legions of followers at every stop.

Every once in a while, a band comes along that refuels your passion for a musical genre. City Sleeps are a prime example, taking melodic rock to new heights combining harmonized, metallic riffs with strong melodic choruses to create songs that are as energetic and infectious as their intense live performance that can back it all up.

Look for the band to announce more tour dates soon.
