No More Homeless Pets Conference in Vegas in October

Las Vegas announced as venue for return of No More Homeless Pets Conference, Oct. 24-26

Best Friends Animal Society is bringing back the national No More Homeless Pets Conference that helped galvanize the creation of lifesaving programs for homeless pets in communities across the country. The conference will be at the Alexis Park Resort Hotel from Friday, Oct. 24 through Sunday, Oct. 26 in Las Vegas. Come meet the people who are creating a new world for homeless pets at this landmark gathering of experts from across the country.

The conference includes panel discussions, workshops and optional seminars that explore successful model programs and provide how-to information on community outreach strategies, fundraising methods, increasing adoptions and spay/neuter, feral cat programs, volunteer recruitment, coping with burnout and more. Participants will learn how to launch or play a part in a No More Homeless Pets program in their community.

Immediately following the conference, attendees are also invited on an optional tour of the nation's largest no-kill companion animal sanctuary. The tour will depart Las Vegas Sunday, Oct. 26, arrive in Kanab, Utah, and will return to Las Vegas on Monday, Oct. 27 after a visit to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.
