What happens when American women fall in love with Bellydance moves? Well. just like with their men, they want to change them (just a little) no matter how great they are! The most compelling and colorful new blossom to bloom in the Bellydance bouquet is the hypnotic American Tribal Style (ATS). On September 27 and 28, 2008, the Tribal L.A. Dance Festival will bring two days of non-stop music and dance with costuming, makeup (including henna tattoos) and melodies unique to this exciting genre. Bellydance Fusion and Cabaret styles will also be featured. Additionally, there will be workshops, international vendors, Mid-Eastern and American food and a spectacular Saturday evening show.
Tribal L.A. will be open Saturday from 12 noon – 7:30 pm: Sunday, 12 noon – 6:00 pm. Saturday Evening Show: 8:00 pm.
