Catch Lana, Simon Lynge and Gabby Young on tour

MONUMENTAL TOUR TO CELEBRATE 3 VERY SPECIAL ARTISTS

Lana
She started singing at an early age prompted by her Grandma. Since then she has flourished singing backing in many noteworthy bands.

'Lana brings her ray of sunshine to the people. Making Jazz sexy again, 'Lana manages to fuse some of her influences with a great Pop sound.

Her debut Single has already received extensive play on BBC 6 MUSIC and is not out until October 27. Chris Hawkins on BBC 6 Music says about her debut single 'THIS IS A COOL, SMART SONG WHICH DESERVES TO BE HEARD'.

It features the lead track ‘Don’t Call Me Baby’ bringing out 'Lana’s Latin vibrancy. Having half her heart resting in Latin territory, she sings a beautiful version of it in Spanish too.
Stripping away the media nonsense ‘Don’t Call Me Baby’ sees 'Lana take on the current crop of media whores armed only with a voice and raw talent. Isn’t that the only stimulant you should need?

'Lana is from the planet sunshine come to inject joy, love and laughter into our world.

PLUS SPECIAL GUEST ALL THE WAY FROM LOS ANGELES VIA DENMARK...

Simon Lynge
With Simon Lynge's debut album, A Beautiful Way to Drown, the gold rush is on. Recorded in Los Angeles with co-producers Matt Forger (best known as engineer on most of the Michael Jackson recordings and almost anything Quincy Jones did for years) and Jon Mattox (The Young Dubliners), Drown introduces Simon Lynge as a fully formed contender for pop-legend status. The project worked like a magnet for world-renown musicians like bassist Lee Sklar (James Taylor, Jackson Browne), guitarist Shane Fontayne (Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon) and more.

Simon’s musical roots are Inuit-Scandinavian. Born in Denmark and raised in the beautiful steppes of Greenland, Simon’s early years included time spent at play and helping to tend his neighbour’s sheep. He was constantly exposed to music and storytelling by his multitalented father Karl, who played accordion with the “Greenlandic Bob Dylan”, Rasmus Lyberth. He also worked with Eskimo folklore in the Tukak Theatre Group.

Simon later enrolled in the Hostelbro Music Conservatory in Denmark, where he immersed himself in the study of drums, piano and opera. His musical hunger led him to the guitar and songwriting a he quickly found himself co-writing and performing with exceptional talents in the Copenhagen songwriter scene. Invitations followed from the Kashmir Club in London and to write and perform on Nashville’s Music Row and then to the vibrant musical scene.

AHEAD OF THE RELEASE OF HER EP ‘BEAR WITH ME’ AND HER OWN HEADLINE TOUR NOVEMBER 17TH

Gabby Young
We are honoured to have Gabby join this Monumental Music Club tour ahead of her very own headline tour and EP release in November. Raised in the fields of Wiltshire 24 years ago, Gabby is making waves in the London music scene. She is instantly recognisable as the girl with the petite frame, mane of red hair and the vocal ability of a lioness. Classically trained, Gabby was one of the youngest members to be invited to join the National Youth Choir; she also played double bass in her college Orchestra.

Her diverse musical tastes include pop, rock, jazz, funk, blues and experimental. She is equally at home singing in jazz clubs, pubs, music festivals or even the Royal Albert Hall and the Barbican, as she did with Al Stewart on his last two UK tours! She is back in the USA in September to support Al Stewart on his North American tour and will be popping by LA to perform some shows as well.
