Boyz II Men featured on A&E's "Private Sessions" Sunday

Boyz II Men, the biggest-grossing R&B male vocal group of all-time, sits down for their first in-depth interview in more than six years and performs five songs on the A&E weekly one-hour music and performance series “Private Sessions” this Sunday, November 9 at 9 AM ET/PT.

Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman and Wayna Morris, who make up the four-time Grammy Award-winning group, give “Private Sessions’” host Lynn Hoffman their first in-depth interview in more than six years. The group discusses the longevity of their career, its ups - including praise from Otis Williams of the Temptations, its downs - including a little-known breakup and their most current release and what it was like working with Randy Jackson.

The one-hour episode also features special appearances from Kenny Rogers and Wayne Brady and performances of their massive hits “Motownphilly,” “I’ll Make Love to You,” “End of the Road” as well as Motown favorites “Just My Imagination” and a medley of “It’s the Same Old Song/Reach Out I’ll Be There.” AETV.COM will also feature three exclusive clips culled from the interview on the “Private Sessions” website.

Some interview bites:
Shawn Stockman on troublesome times in their career: “A lot of people don’t even know that we broke up a few times…it got rough on us, and it got to the point where we were second guessing ourselves and asking, well what’s the point.”

Wayna Morris on what he admires about the group: “We listen to each other which allows us to stay focused and grounded in what we know is really and that’s this music, that’s Boyz II Men and that’s everything we’ve tried our best to accomplish all these years.”

“Private Sessions,” hosted by Lynn Hoffman, showcases exclusive performances and conversations with top names in entertainment with a focus on contemporary music ranging from rock ‘n’ roll to pop to country. Each Sunday morning “Private Sessions” explores the body of work of a single artist or group and features current releases as well as career-building, influential or defining projects.
