Catch A Noise Within's "Oliver Twist" Nov. 19

A Noise Within, the critically acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, announces the Wednesday, November 19, 8 p.m., performance of its production of Oliver Twist as a "Pay What You Can" date, which allows patrons to purchase tickets for what they can afford.

Tickets are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and based on availability, with a limit of two per person. Tickets must be purchased in person at the Box Office (234 S. Brand Blvd., Glendale), after 2 p.m. on the day of the performance with cash only. ($10 minimum suggested).

Oliver Twist, which runs from Saturday, November 8 through Sunday, December 14, 2008, is based on Dickens' second novel. Comedy and tragedy mingle in a Victorian music hall setting as young Oliver Twist struggles to navigate the dark alleyways of a whimsically cruel world.

ANW Co-Founder/Co-Artistic Director Julia Rodriguez-Elliott directs.

The cast features Shaun Anthony (Artful Dodger), Jessica Berman (Rose), Brian Dare (Oliver Twist), Apollo Dukakis (Bumble), ANW Co-Founder/Co-Artistic Director Geoff Elliott (Bill Sikes), Tom Fitzpatrick (Fagin) and Jill Hill (Nancy) as well as ensemble members Robertson Dean, William Dennis Hunt, Christina Ishizaki, Stephen Rockwell, Koko Sandmeyer, Aurea Tomeski, Anne Troup and Tim Venable.

David O composes original music, which plays a key role in moving the action forward, and violinist Endre Balogh performs live on stage.
