Make-Up Designory offers palette to benefit NextAid

In an effort to help orphaned children in Africa who have lost their parents due to the AIDS epidemic, NextAid, a non-profit organization whose goal is to help create safe and sustainable communities for orphaned children in Africa, and Make-Up Designory (MUD), the nation's leading make-up educational institution, have teamed up in an effort to raise $25,000 to build a home for the orphans. MUD recently introduced a limited edition, four-holed palette with 100 percent of the $25 palette's proceeds going to NextAid to help build the house.

"We're both excited and proud to be involved in this program," said Tate Holland, Make-Up Designory CEO. "Our goal is to raise $25,000 and we've chosen to do it by co-branding with NextAid. By selling just 1,000 pieces, we will be contributing to these needy communities and investing in the futures of countless children."

Make-Up Designory will be sponsoring the building of one of the home units which will cost $25,000. The limited edition palette will feature the MUD logo with the logo of the NextAid Organization. The palette includes four MUD eye shadow colors: Spanish Gold, Moss, Cashmere and Dulce de Leche.

NextAid was founded in 2002 to help create safe and sustainable communities for orphaned children in Africa who have lost their parents to the AIDS epidemic. Corporations and individuals can adopt a project and fund the building of one of the essential buildings in the community. With eleven buildings remaining, MUD has chosen to fund the building of one of the housing units. All buildings are made with energy efficient designs and natural building techniques. The home units, like the one MUD has adopted, can house six children and one caregiver.
