According to a survey of 1,000 consumers conducted by Impulse Research and commissioned by NAMM, the National Association of Music Merchants for the musical instruments and products industry, Generation X and Y have selected “Jingle Bell Rock” as the top holiday song of the season. In the survey, which polled men and women aged 18 years and older across the United States, about their favorite song to perform during the holidays, those under 35 picked a non-traditional holiday tune, disagreeing with baby boomers who chose the popular holiday standard “White Christmas.”
