The Toadies continue tour in support of latest effort

2008 saw Dallas’s own The Toadies reunite after a 7-year absence, play a US Tour that sold out in many major markets including New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, Atlanta, Washington DC, Seattle, Minneapolis and of course all over Texas including Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin. The tour was to support their newest record entitled No Deliverance that spawned a Top 40 single with the title track at Active Rock radio.

The band still gets over 600 spins a week at alternative and active rock radio with combined plays from their current record as well as the Platinum selling Rubberneck. The record has also scanned over 30k copies to date since the release in August ’08 and was the #4 selling indie record week of release.

The band tirelessly trekked across the country for nearly 5 months that included a headlining stint at Lollapalooza on the MySpace stage. The Toadies also headlined their own festival at Possum Kingdom Lake called Dia De Los Toadies in front of over 5,000 fans. The band will play some select shows in their native state as well as Hawaii in January before heading over to the UK and Europe to deliver their unique brand of Texas style rock n’ roll. They also plan on releasing a new single in January called "Song I Hate" as well as plan to get back into the studio for more new material.
