Theatre 360 (Devon Yates, Artistic and Executive Director) presents ALICE IN WONDERLAND (Written by Lewis Carroll, Adapted for the Stage by Brainerd Duffield, Produced through Special Arrangement with Baker’s Plays) for two weekends: March 19-21 and March 26-28.

“As a performing arts school we are always on the look-out for plays and musicals that will allow all of our students to participate equally. The students in this production, varying from ages 6 to 19, all benefit from a wide range of characters and onstage involvement. On stage and back stage, we have new and returning students from public and private schools throughout Los Angeles County,” stated Theatre 360 Artistic and Executive Director Devon Yates.

Theatre 360’s production of ALICE IN WONDERLAND is just in time for the arrival of spring and Tim Burton’s film of the same name.

Yates stated, “We have taken our own spin on this production, as the costumes are influenced by the Japanese style of “Harajuku” and our set benefits from the surrealism of Salvidor Dali, contributing to the kaleidoscope of adventure immortalized by Lewis Carroll.” The story follows young Alice down the rabbit hole into a fantasy world of riddles, strange sights and the curious characters we have come to love: the White Rabbit, Caterpillar, Chesire Cat, Mad Hatter and Queen of Hearts.

Yates continued, “We are relieved that in this difficult economic time, and as many children’s arts organizations are forced to close, we still have our doors open to the youth and community of Pasadena and its surrounding communities fostering teamwork, a love of the arts and an understanding of its many benefits.”

ALICE IN WONDERLAND begins performances on March 19 and plays through March 28 at Theatre 360, 75 North Marengo Avenue in Pasadena. The performance schedule is Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm, and Sunday at 2:00 pm. Tickets are available by calling Theatre 360 at (626) 577-5922.
