Age of Evil at the Viper Room April 10

One of the most promising and critically acclaimed US metal bands, Age of Evil, is gearing up to headline one of Los Angeles’ most popular venues, The Viper Room, on Saturday, April 10th at 7pm. The Scottsdale, Arizona-based group is comprised of a double pair of brothers - singer/rhythm guitarist Jeremy Goldberg, guitarist Jordan Ziff, bassist Jacob Goldberg, and drummer Garrett Ziff - and is still flying high from the release of their debut EP, ‘Get Dead,’ which has created quite a buzz throughout the metal community.

“I love playing LA, because of the vibe I get,” says Garrett. “You've got the rockers, the metalheads, and all the hot girls getting together for a great time!” Jacob agrees with Garrett’s assessment - “Looking forward to playing in such an iconic place.” And lastly, Jordan adds, “It beats Arizona!”

Recently, the Sea of Tranquility website praised the band, saying “If this kind of talent keeps popping up and staying true to the metal way, then I think that the genre is in excellent hands.” Additional accolades have been bestowed upon the group from Andy Secher, editor for Hit Parader Magazine, who says, "Thanks to young Arizona rockers Age of Evil, the sounds of vintage metal are alive and well as we kick off the second decade of the 21st Century." Add to it Revolver Magazine picking Age of Evil as a 'Band to Watch" in 2010 and ‘Get Dead’ recently deemed a “New & Noteworthy Release” for four weeks straight on iTunes, and you have one of metal’s fastest rising acts.

Undoubtedly, the upcoming Viper Room performances will only further cement Age of Evil’s standing as one of metal’s brightest hopes.
