Thorton & Colburn students to perform in Pasadena April 11

Gifted young musicians from the University of Southern California (USC) Thornton School of Music and the Colburn School will give a rare performance of classical chamber music outside of their school communities. In addition, the concert will feature a world-premiere piece titled Seven Dances for solo piano composed by Stephen Cohn, an Emmy Award-winning composer. This piece will be performed by a young outstanding pianist, Stephen Cook.

The Concert Program includes:
Shostakovich Piano Trio Op. 67
Mendelssohn Piano Trio No. 2 in C minor, Op. 66
Mendelssohn Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor, Op. 49
and more

This concert is supported in part with funds received from the Los Angeles County Arts Commission, the Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts, Ruder & Finn Fund, Inc. and Ceola Montgomery.
