Pasadena student music and theatrical performances in May and June

Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) students are prepared to display their musical and dramatic talent in performances throughout the PUSD community as the 2010 spring musical season kicks off this week.

“PUSD is home to many talented, creative and artistic students, and we are proud of their skills,” said Superintendent Edwin Diaz. “Our community is extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to see these budding stars, who have flourished under the instruction and guidance of our excellent arts and music teachers.”

The Spring Musical season kicks off on Wednesday, May 19 with the Pasadena High School (PHS) Spring Concert in the PHS Auditorium. John Muir and Marshall High Schools will stage concerts later in May, and Blair IB School will present its annual “Ovations” performance at the Pasadena Playhouse the first week of June. Eliot and Washington Middle School will also present musical and theater performances in the coming weeks. The full schedule of events is listed below:
