Los Angeles singer/songwriter Jonathan Clark features his soulful, melodic songwriting style throughout his debut album I'm Just Sayin', out June 8 via Blue-C Records. He is set to perform the new tracks at a record release event on June 8 in Los Angeles at King King. The show will also feature guest appearances by a number of Jonathan's talented friends and the video for lead single I'll Be There--directed by actor Gary Oldman--will have its world premiere.
After spending years playing bass guitar and singing back-up for some of the music industry's biggest names (including Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh and Don Henley from the Eagles, Dwight Yoakam, Christopher Cross, Michael McDonald), Jonathan is ready to step into the spotlight with the 11-song set. Written by Jonathan and co-produced with his brother Daniel Clark, I'm Just Sayin', features backing vocals by Christopher Cross (Take A Little Trip) and Gary Oldman (Best Way and I'll Be There), as well as string arrangements by The Section Quartet, among other guest performers.
