Family fun and new exhibit at Arcadia Historical Museum

Families are invited to find out which artifacts “amuse” Museum puppets Harriet, Feathers and Teddy on Saturday, October 22 at 1:00 p.m. Program runs approximately thirty minutes. Seating is limited so come early.

The opening reception and exhibit of ephemera and images of Santa Anita Park begins Saturday, November 12 at 10:00 a.m. This special exhibit will celebrate the great race place in Arcadia and will include images and ephemera from various time periods. Come see famous jockeys, horses, people and events that the racetrack has experienced over the years. An exhibit and reception you won’t want to miss!

Families are invited to travel with us to Mexico on Saturday, November 5 beginning at 12:30 p.m. Hands-on activities featuring Mexican culture and history include making a pull string piñata, decorating your very own maracas, making a Lucha Libre mask, and other fun activities.

The Arcadia Historical Museum is located at 380 W. Huntington Drive, immediately behind the Community Center. The Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is always free.
