The annual “Design Runway” show, on December 9, 2011 at 8 pm, highlights the many ways industrial design and visual art students express themselves through Apparel Design. “This is a runway show unlike any other,” said fashion designer, illustrator, art director, writer and associate professor Justine Parish. “Apparel Design at Art Center is less about fashion than it is an outlet for students from all departments to explore a new medium for their creativity. As a result we have Product Design students creating performance sportswear for space travel, Illustration students creating jewelry, Transportation Design students creating high fashion shoes, and everything in between.”

The Design Runway Show will take place at Art Center’s Ahmanson Auditorium,

located at the College’s Hillside Campus, 1700 Lida Street in Pasadena, California, from 8:00 to 9:00 PM.
