The Sunflowers benefit concert for Bienvenidos in Altadena Dec. 17

Popular Southern California kids and family music group The Sunflowers will give a special holiday performance to benefit Bienvenidos Family Services of Los Angeles. The performance will take place on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 1PM at The Coffee Gallery Backstage located in Altadena, CA. Group founders Michael and Terri Taylor have written and perform a rambunctious collection of music for children, families and people of all ages that features a unique and eclectic blend of Pop, Bluegrass, Dixieland Jazz, Zydeco with a dash of Caribbean flavor.

The holiday fundraiser will also feature rootin’ tootin’ rowdy ranch hand Cowboy Max (Shelby Bond) who will bedazzle all with rope tricks and repartee.

Bienvenidos was founded in 1986 to address the growing number of abused and neglected infants and toddlers in Los Angeles. For over 25 years, Bienvenidos has developed a comprehensive array of services and resources to support the mission to be a compassionate community of care dedicated to healing children and their families. Each year, Bienvenidos programs serve over 18,000 children and families throughout Greater East Los Angeles, the San Gabriel Valley and parts of the San Fernando and Antelope Valleys.
