The month of April always shows the way to spring. It’s a time to open the windows, dust off blankets and invite a new song into your heart. The La Habra Children’s Museum celebrates the arrival of spring by celebrating music and La Habra/Corona Music Centers are excited to join the Children’s Museum month long celebration. The museum offers interactive exhibits and workshops that will inspire and elevate kids and grownups alike to dig into the exciting world of music.
La Habra/Corona Music Centers is presenting its latest music education seminar featuring Rick Lobos in a singing and songwriting workshop. Rick and percussionist Jeff Maldonado will perform and teach on Saturday April 21st at 11am. Attendees can join Rick and Jeff as they demonstrate the joy of creating a song from scratch. The interactive workshop will encompass the creation of rhythm, melody, chords and lyrics. Growing into a complete musical composition and performance that will encourage group participation.
Music makes you smarter and creates a way to get involved with your kids providing a fun and exhilarating experience. After Rick and Jeff’s workshop you and your kids can visit the museums current changing exhibit “Feel the Rhythm”. There’s plenty to do and see in La Habra and the Children’s Museum has plenty to offer.
