DENGUE FEVER has been touring the United States in 2012 and are currently working on new material in their home studio. This past summer the band made their debut in both Brazil and Mexico, toured the East Coast with Syrian artist, Omar Souleyman and toured the West Coast with Secret Chiefs 3 in January.

Since their inception in 2002, DENGUE FEVER’s unique take on ‘60s Cambodian pop and American surf rock has garnered praise and attention from fans and critics alike. HBO’s hit series True Blood named an entire episode after one of their songs and featured the band’s music. More recently, DENGUE FEVER’s music has appeared on CBS’ CSI: Las Vegas, The Hangover 2 and numerous documentaries. Spin highlighted the band in their ‘Breaking Out’ section, and profiles on the group have appeared in the New York Times, Mojo, Magnet, Wired, and NPR’s “Fresh Air” and Radio Australia. Ray Davies from the Kinks called them "a cross between Led Zeppelin and Blondie.”
