Preservation Hall Jazz Band will present Creole Christmas on Saturday, December 15, at 8 p.m. in Caltech’s Beckman Auditorium. 

Seasonal favorites to be performed will include songs such as “Blue Christmas,” “Swinging In A Winter Wonderland,” “Bells Will Be Ringin” and “The Dreydel Song.”

The Preservation Hall Jazz Band derives its name from Preservation Hall, the venerable venue located in the heart of New Orleans’ French Quarter, founded in 1961 by Allan and Sandra Jaffe. The band has traveled worldwide, spreading their mission to perpetuate the art form of New Orleans jazz.

Tickets to this performance are priced at $29.00, $24.00, and $19.00; youth (high school age and younger): $10.00.  Senior rush tickets will go on sale for $10.00, beginning one-half hour before the performance (subject to availability).  Tickets can be purchased at the Caltech Ticket Office, 332 S. Michigan Avenue, Pasadena.
