Randy Rhoads book & DVD on Quiet Riot era released

Author/director Ron Sobol has created the new book & DVD, "Randy Rhoads, The Quiet Riot Years"

Ron Sobol was there during Quiet Riot’s heyday as the band’s photographer, friend and confidante. Now, for the first time, his words and images are on display for the world to see and hear.

In words and rare unpublished photographs, “Randy Rhoads, The Quiet Riot Years,” brings you inside Randy Rhoads and Kevin DuBrow's struggle to make it out of Hollywood and onto the world's stage. Enhanced by a rich collection of Ron Sobol's evocative photographs along with Kevin DuBrow's personal memorabilia, this captivating oversized 12" by 12" hardcover photo journal captures Quiet Riot's near-impossible ascension to superstardom

The accompanying film, "Randy Rhoads: The Quiet Riot Years", is a coming-of-age story that chronicles the ascension of the iconic L.A. based band through their internal struggles, hardships, and eventual triumphs during the ever changing musical climate of the 70's.
