COMMENTS: Sammy Hagar is a professional musician whose career has spanned over four decades. His accomplishments include Montrose, Van Halen and a successful solo career. Sammy Hagar first came to Cabo San Lucas in the early 1980’s and fell in love with the area. Soon he would make Cabo his home and would write a song (Cabo Wabo) that would change his life and many others forever. According to the song “There’s a sleepy town, south of the border; you go there once you’ll be there twice.” He and many others have awakened this little town. That song has inspired a world-famous nightclub, restaurant, clothing, tequila, and lifestyle shared by hundreds of thousands of patrons each year. Through Cabo Wabo, Sammy Hagar has promoted Los Cabos and the state of Baja California Sur with great success.
