Kenny Edwards Bio: The American folk-rock movement of the late-sixties and early seventies has proven to be a profoundly influential and lasting event in the history of pop and country music--both in the USA and around the world. One main character in that movement is a name not always known to the general public, but definitely recognized within the industry - Kenny Edwards. Audiences don't know how very familiar they are with the sound of Edwards' voice and his wonderful musicianship. In 1965, Kenny was a co-founder of The Stone Poneys, along with Linda Ronstadt and Bobby Kimmel. The group made several albums on Capitol Records, toured, and became well-known in the new American folk-rock movement of the 1960’s.
After the Stone Poneys, Kenny lived and worked right in the heart of LA's "Troubadour days”. During this time Kenny teamed up with Karla Bonoff, Wendy Waldman, and Andrew Gold to form the legendary band Bryndle, ultimately signed to A&M. Kenny and Andrew went on to become the backbone of Linda Ronstadt's band, and were central to the Ronstadt sound during her hit years in the ‘70s. In Kenny's case, he also supplied Ronstadt with material - he introduced her to the music of Karla Bonoff, and he co-wrote with Linda himself on occasion. During this time Kenny also produced Karla Bonoff's debut album and two more for CBS.
In the Summer of 2002, Kenny released his first self-titled solo album. He teamed with producer Freddie Koella, musical director for Willy Deville. " It's pretty intimate and homey sounding and I like that after all the band oriented music I've been involved with over the years. To that end I resisted calling on the great talents of my friends in many cases just to let this CD be what it is."

Nina Gerber:
"Nina's guitar style is wide and brave. As she glides thru this record project, she uses each of her guitars as if it's the one she was born to play. Acoustic or electric, she sounds beautiful, smokey, precise, full of the licks you love to hear, even though it sounds like you're hearing them fresh, for the first time, and some of them... you are. She's a player, folks... we're lucky to have her near..." ...Herb Pedersen
"One of the best acoustic and electric guitarists in the folk genre.".:. Frets Magazine .:.
Since her accompaniment of Kate Wolf first earned her recognition, her acute skills as performer, producer and arranger have continued to deepen. Her contributions to acoustic music have earned her a following as loyal as for the numerous high talents she has accompanied - proving the shadows equal to the spotlight in the creation of honest, powerful, and beautiful music.Nina has a unique ability to completely free herself within an eclectic range of styles. Presented with folk, country, bluegrass, rock, or blues, she is able to fall into leads which have rare reverence for the true feeling of a song, always emphasizing taste over technical display. She seeks to express through her hands, rather than gain attention, and it is this integrity which makes her expressions worth intent listening. That kind of intent listening will reveal Nina's melodic touch in more places than many realize. Nina has performed and/or recorded with: Nanci Griffith, Greg Brown, Lucy Kaplansky, Mollie O'Brien, Jerry Jeff Walker, Karla Bonoff, Ferron, Rosalie Sorrels, Barbara Higbie, John Gorka, Cheryl Wheeler, Terry Garthwaite, Tom Paxton, and many others.
Freddy Koella, a native of Mulhouse, France, will be joining Kenny & Nina. He is a master of guitar and violin, and has toured with Bob Dylan, Zachary Richard, Cookie Dingler (France), Doctor John, Johnny Adams, Willy Deville, and Kenny Edwards.
