Rascal Flats to tour UK for first time

Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney of Rascal Flatts are embarking on their very first tour of the United Kingdom. The band departed the United States yesterday and landed on British soil this morning in preparation for a week of live shows and media appearances throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Tonight, in their first twenty-four hours in the U.K., Rascal Flatts will give a private, acoustic performance for industry guests and contest winners at The 100 Club in London. The 100 Club is the oldest live music venue in London and has witnessed performances by such legends as The Rolling Stones, B.B. King, The Yardbirds, Oasis, The White Stripes, Bo Diddley, The Who, Matchbox 20, The Sex Pistols and Eric Clapton.

Rascal Flatts will remain overseas through the weekend and will resume their North American “Still Feels Good” tour on February 7 in Toronto after a series of sold-out shows in Manchester, NH, Albany, NY, Buffalo, NY and New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

In the seven years since launching their career the band has sold over 16 million albums in the U.S. and scored 9 #1 singles. The band’s two most recent titles, Me and My Gang and Feels Like Today, are each certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA for sales of more than 4 million units while Rascal Flatts and Melt are both certified double platinum. Their current CD Still Feels Good is certified platinum and includes the hit singles “Take Me There” and “Winner At A Losing Game.”
