American Hi-Fi to preview new music at the Troubadour

The reunited original line-up of AMERICAN HI-FI will be previewing songs from their upcoming self-produced album at an April 11 show at the Troubadour. A few of the new tracks can be heard at www.myspace.com/americanhifi.

Lead singer STACY JONES has made a name for himself as a producer, recently taking the helm for offerings from U.K. band the Towers Of London, Los Angeles-based Low Vs Diamond, Vans Warped Tour darlings Meg & Dia and radio-staples Plain White T’s. JONES is also an A&R executive/staff producer for on-the-rise indie Original Signal Recordings (Ingrid Michaelson, David Ford). Prior to AMERICAN HI-FI and his producing duties, JONES was a drummer in 90’s alt-rock bands Veruca Salt and Letters to Cleo.

Formed in 2000 in Boston, the band has released three albums that combined have sold over 1 million copies, have appeared on multiple late night shows including The Tonight Show and The Late Show and their tracks have appeared in numerous shows, movies and commercials.
