Repertory Opera Company to perform at Fenyes Mansion

A trio of special programs this spring by the Repertory Opera Company will give music lovers and opera aficionados the unique opportunity to enjoy performances of favorite works in the intimate setting of the elegant Fenyes Mansion at the Pasadena Museum of History. The concerts will take place on Tuesdays, April 8, May 6 and June 3, all at 7:30 pm. The Fenyes Mansion is at the corner of Orange Grove Blvd. and Walnut St. in Pasadena; free parking is available in the Museum lot (enter at 470 W. Walnut St) and on Walnut St.

The Repertory Opera Company has performed in LA for more than three seasons to great critical acclaim: a cast of astonishingly talented local singers, most of whom also carry international credits, and guided by virtuoso musical director Brian Farrell - Entertainment Today

Timeless Treasures
Tuesday, April 8, 7:30 pm

Selections will include beloved melodies from The Tales of Hoffman, Don Giovanni, Rigoletto, and The Marriage of Figaro and favorite arias, such as “O mio babbino caro,” “Vissi d’arte,” “The Toreador Song” and “Una furtiva lagrima.”


The Wonderful Women of Opera
Tuesday, May 6, 7:30 pm

Celebrate Mother's Day at a concert featuring duets and arias showcasing the women of Mozart, Puccini and Verdi. Experience an evening of song in the tradition of the salons Eva Scott Fenyes presented over a century ago.

Tuesday, June 3, 7:30 pm

Enjoy n evening of the Repertory Opera Company's favorite arias and scenes. See what really excites these artists, as they select a program from the operatic masterpieces.
