Support The Sheds

Sierra Madre Sue says check out The Sheds:

My friends THE SHEDS have 2 of the biggest concerts of their career so far, coming up next weekend. These talented young men have made many appearances in Sierra Madre over the last few years, including Wistaria Festivals, Summer Concerts in the Park and a junior high dance at St. Rita's School. They have shared local stages with Aluminum Marshmallow and Snotty Scotty & the Hankies, and are now making a name for themselves in the greater L.A. area by securing opening act opportunities with well known bands at major venues.

On Saturday, March 29th, they are performing at the Majestic Ventura Theater with the Aggrolites and on Sunday, March 30th, they'll be at the Key Club in West Hollywood, opening for British Ska legends, Bad Manners. This is huge!

And if you don't already know - let me clue you in - these guys are aged 16, 15, 13 and 12! (Don't tell the Key Club - their website says you have to be 15 to get in!)

When I first saw them, they were doing classic rock stuff from the 60's like the Who, Stones, Cream, etc., as if they grew up back in the day. They have since branched out into Ska, Punk and Reggae, making it seem effortless.

Three brothers: Mac, Evan and Morgan Miller and newest bandmate Duncan Murray, have more than just talent - they have stage presence and are really nice kids when you get to know them! Some of the credit for that has to go to their parents, Colleen & Harold Miller, who are their biggest supporters.

Full price tickets for both concerts are available at the door or through TicketMaster, or contact THE SHEDS for specially priced advance tickets, and they'll get 'em to you before the shows: godsavethqueen19@aol.com
