I See Hawks in L.A. to offer free show Monday

I See Hawks In L.A. will be performing a free 21+ show at the Echo (1822 W Sunset Blvd.) on Monday, March 31 at 8:30 pm with The Chapin Sisters.

For directions and additional info, visit: http://www.attheecho.com.

Hallowed Ground , the 4th release from I See Hawks in L.A. (May 20, Big Book Records), cuts a wide swath of post-Gram Parsons California country music and lyrically mines poetically expressed eco/end times themes. This time around, the band ventures into Celtic, Tex-Mex and 70s Soul, with a beefed up sound from wunderkind mixer Ethan Allen (The 88, Donita Sparks, Daniel Lanois), that is sure to surprise and satisfy longtime fans and intrigue new listeners. The Hawks have been hailed as the next great roots band from the City of Angels, drawing comparisons to The Byrds, Buck Owens and (naturally) the great Gram Parsons.
