Tonya Ware's "The Voice" album is available

There are a lot of singer/songwriters out there looking for their "big break", but not many can claim to have started the way Tonya Ware did.

Tonya started singing at six-years-old. When she was older, Tonya would go to jails and prisons with her father (who is a minister) to sing for the inmates. Fortunately, today, you do not have to be behind bars to enjoy her warm, deeply resonant inspired vocals. One of ten children, Tonya became known as 'The Voice' and that's exactly what her new album is called.

"The Voice" is a collection of songs from this amazing talent who is already reaching people around the world, from the United States to Japan.

Seeing prisoners cry at her performances inspired Tonya to pursue her unique musical gift and use it to reach people with the love of Christ. She combines the spirituality of her gospel roots with the more modern sounds of contemporary soul and R&B.

"I always wanted to produce an album that inspires," says Tonya. And that is precisely the word for the music she creates. Her voice is remarkable for both its range and its emotional honesty. She sings about love, hope, and unconditional grace.

Small in stature, but she has a voice that is sure to move you! People are connecting with her sound, from the inspirational and uplifting modern hymn of 'None Like You' to the passionate soul of 'Rain', Tonya hits every target market on this album.

And when she brings in other talent, she gets the best in the business. 'Put My Hand In Yours', the first released radio single, was written by Marvin Winans, from the legendary Winans family. The lush production and poignant, personal lyrics make this classic track an instant hit. 'Put My Hand In Yours' crossed over to Adult Contemporary charts as it captured the attention of listeners on several continents. Her universal sound is unmistakable.

Tonya Ware has come a long way since her childhood days when she sang to inmates with her father. However, in many ways she's still doing the same thing: Using her musical gift to inspire people and in doing so helping make the world a better place.

'The Voice' is in stores now and available online through www.TonyaWare.com, iTunes, CDbaby, Napster, or Payplay.
