Claremont Pooch Park needs volunteers for July 4

Hello to all Pooch Park attendees:

Every year, the Pooch Park runs two booths at the City of Claremont's Annual 4th of July Festivities at Memorial Park on Indian Hill Blvd. just North of the Village.

This year we are in desperate need of people to help us out. You don't have to spend all day at the park. If you could spare even an hour or two, it would be a huge help.

For those of you who aren't aware, the Pooch Park Committee does these fundraisers to make improvements to the Park. The shade canopy, benches, and many other things were paid for by the Committee Fundraisers. We know you all enjoy these things, so please consider donating a bit of time to help us in either our merchandise or food booths.

We start setting up at 7AM and we tear down the booths at 4PM. We need staff for both booths all day long. We need help unloading and setting up booths as well as tearing them down and reloading vehicles.

If you can't work, please stop by and purchase some food or some dogs toys or t shirts. Many of you have been asking for the Water Rovers and we will have new stock at this event. We also have an all new stock of dog toys that are sold well below market value. Every time you purchase something, it goes to help your dog park.

The merchandise booth will be located near the intersection of Indian Hill and 10th St. We can direct you to the food booth from there.

Hope to see you on July 4th at Memorial Park.
