Emerging rock band ECHO JET, fronted by songwriting team, Denny & Kenny Scott, will hit the road to perform for fans nationwide on the 2008 “Camplified” Tour. The band just released their self-titled The Machine Records debut on June 10, featuring their hot, new single “WAVE,” which just reached the Top 50 on R&R’s Hot A/C New & Active Chart. The single is also #46 on Mediabase Hot A/C and BDS/Hot AC at #49. “Wave” is one of only three independent label songs currently in the Hot A/C Top 50. “Wave” is also a 9-time winner on Radio Sophie 103.7 San Diego, beating out singles from bands such as The Black Crowes, Blind Melon, O.A.R. among others, by listener voting. The single was also the pick for the best new single by Sirius Satellite Radio’s Pulse Program Director.
The 5th Annual “Camplified” tour features artists from both MTV and Radio Disney, bringing a positive musical message to young campers throughout America. Created by Alternative Venue Entertainment, the organization’s longstanding goals have been to provide various summer camps with a rock concert and VIP/backstage experience that includes interaction with performers as well as integrated activities with age-appropriate targeted sponsors. ‘This is a great way to connect with our fans who may not be able to attend a major venue show” stated the band’s Kenny Scott.

ECHO JET is a five-piece band that places great emphasis on the art of songwriting (great melody, cool guitar lines, interesting lyrics) and takes its cue from songwriting-driven bands such as U2, INXS and Tears For Fears. The Scott brothers, who first hit success with the catchy hit “Hey Now Now,” have spent many years developing their craft and becoming proficient in the studio, which has paid off with film and television song placements, along with an appearance in the Drew Barrymore film “Never Been Kissed,” among others.
The LA-based band includes: Denny Scott, lead vocals; Kenny Scott, rhythm guitar and vocals; Josh Dunahoo, lead guitar; Adam Farley, drums; and Joey Clement, bass.
