Acclaimed Tango Dance Couple "Do the Tango" at A FREE J.A.M. SESSION Event at the Ford Amphitheatre July 14 at 7 p.m.
What: Tango dancers, choreographers and Tony Award nominees Sandor and Parissa teach dancers of all skill levels the sensual art of Tango dance. After the lessons guests are invited to unwind at a milonga (tango party) with live music by the Dino Durand Tango Trio.

Internationally acclaimed Tango dancers and choreographers, Sandor & Parissa, have performed in countless television, film, and theatrical productions around the world including: "Days of Our Lives," "The 04 MTV Musi Awards," "American Wedding," "Skeleton Key." "Charmed," :"Six Feet Under," and "12 Corazones."
Sandor was a principal dancer in the Broadway/London hit show, "Forever Tango," receiving a "Best Choreography" Tony Award nomination. He is also the creator, director and principal dancer with Parissa, in Magique Tango Vivo! that toured with outstanding reviews.
Parissa has been featured dancing all styles of Latin, Salsa, Swing and Theatre Arts. Her latest film credit involved working as tango and ballroom coach for Antonio Banderas in "Take the Lead."
Married since 2005, Sandor & Parissa have also choreographed for U.S Olympic Champion Ice Dancers Melissa Gregory & Denis Petukhov and Bulgarian World Ice Dancing Champions Albena Denkova & Maxim Staviski. For more information visit: www.sandorparissa.com.

Session events are part of the Ford Amphitheatre 2008 Season, a multi-disciplinary arts series produced by the Los Angeles County Arts Commission in cooperation with Los Angeles County-based arts organizations. Presented by the Ford Theatre Foundation, these sessions are designed to channel participant's creative energies and release the artist within.
