July 13: Alexiis is our coordinator for the evening and we have Brandi, Mish, Jen and Hade to delight you with dance to LIVE MUSIC by talented musicians Hamzah, Ivorie and Matt on drum, flute and middle eastern guitar. This promises to be an evening chock full of great entertainment you WON’T want to miss—so be sure to come on down to the cool breezes of Long Beach and see a fantastic showcase at Coffee Haven!

July 20: Wow—another Shimmyshowcase featuring LIVE MUSIC! Fernan Cobian playing Arabic Ude with Jim on percussion. In addition to our talented coordinator Saviya, our other great dancers for this evening include Akasha, Sara, Christianna, and, adding even more to the rich variety of this event, a male dancer, Richie will thrill you with his moves. Have you had the opportunity to dance to live music lately? Enjoy open dance time as well!

July 27: Blues is in the House! The long, hot days of summer are upon us, gasoline prices are in the stratosphere, you can’t afford to run the air conditioner and no relief is in sight. With all that, who doesn’t have the blues? We thought the time right to bring back this theme—popular with both dancers and audience alike. Coordinator Abraiha and Meryem Vani, Gaea, Saphira and Kalila will perform their bellydance interpretations of the Blues. This will be a show you won’t want to miss!

Please allow time for parking to avoid missing any of the fun, so be sure to be at the coffee house well before 7:00 PM. We try not to start the show until everyone has settled with a tasty beverage.
